From 11 to 15 July, Munich is celebrating Iranian cinema at the Carl Amery Hall at Gasteig with a diverse program including feature films, documentaries, discussion rounds, art and literature about and from Iran.

The screening program includes ‘The Invincible Diplomacy of Mr. Naderi’ by Behtash Sanaeiha, ‘Breath’ by Narges Abyar, ‘Pig’ by Mani Haghighi, ‘A Man of Integrity’ by Mohammad Rasoulof, ‘No. 17 Soheila’ by Mahmoud Ghafari and other interesting titles.
According to the festival's website, the film program is complemented by a photo exhibition on old Iranian cinemas, a literary reading by the renowned author Amir Hassan Cheheltan as well as further talks on film history and the contemporary art scene by cultural scholar and actress Maryam Palizban and Hannah Jacobi.
