A host of Iranian and Dutch officials opened an exhibition under the title “Iran; the cradle of civilization” at the Drents Museum of Netherlands.

An opening ceremoney of the exhibition entitled “Iran; the cradle of civilization” was held Netherlands with Iranian Ambassador to the Hague Alireza Jahangiri, the Deputy Head of Iran’s Cultural Heritage, Handcraft and Tourism Organization (ICHTO) Mohammad Hassan Talebian, and the Head of National Museum of Iran Jebreil Nowkandeh as well as Dutch officials in attendance.

“At the exhibition, 196 artefacts from 60 historic and archeological sites in Iran are being staged,” said the Head of National Museum of Iran Jebreil Nowkandeh, on the sidelines of the opening ceremony.

“The exhibition is divided into seven sections from Paleolithic age to the Islamic era,” recounted the Iranian official.
