A new book on history of Hadith, quotes and recommendations by Prophet Mohammad (PBUH), has been published by Iranian cleric shedding more light on different aspects of the quotes, words and actions by the prophet of Islam (PBUH).

“History of Hadith” is the title of the book by Hujjat-ul-Islam Seyyed Mohammad Kazem Tabatabaee, head of Hadith and theology research center at Dar-ul-Hadith Institute to review the different aspects in the history of quotes by Prophet of Islam, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
The introduction to the book reads,” Hadith, since the beginning reports to present, has passed ups and downs” and added,” On the one side it is a cultural manifest for the time of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) and on the other hand represents the Hadith historians who have provided the future generation through learning and teaching, reading and writing, adding and correcting this compilation of Hadith.”
 
History of Hadith on the other hand also reveals the crackdown of the ruling governments as it is a review on evolution as well as cultural and social change in different eras.
 
Several sources might be available on history of Hadith mainly on Sunni narration, history of Hadith collectors discussing the aforesaid issues in summary or detail.
 
Features of Shia Hadith, features of Sunni history of Hadith, outcome and advantages of studying history of Hadith, features of Hadith at the time of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH), methods for expansion of Hadith at the time of Imam Hassan and Imam Hussein (AS), second and third Shia Imams, are among the topics detailed in this new publication.
