Prominent Iranian cleric highlighted the role of unity in the Islamic society counting that as the solution out of problems and a healing for the present issues.

Ayatollah Mohsen Araki, Secretary General of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, called unity as a blessing same way that division and dispersion are punishments.
Member of Iran’s Assembly of experts extended appreciations for the Supreme Leader’s support for the world forum and said,” The influence of what has been done by the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought should be assessed based on reactions by enemies.”
He touched upon importance of Islamic unity conference and referred to participation of representatives from 70 countries and also nearly 20 prominent muftis.
“Influence of Islamic Unity Conference in its international aspect should be viewed besides the fact that Iraqi media had expressed several limitations for Iraqi participants in the conference” said the cleric.
He hailed the formation of the council of foreign ministers as one of the greatest achievements of the conference and stated,” It has been decided that six previous and present ministers launch a committee to follow the issues of Muslim world.”
Ayatollah Mohsen Araki expressed gratitude for all organizations which aided a successful conference this year.
31st Islamic Unity Conference was held by the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought on 5-7 December concurrent with the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) dubbed as Islamic Unity Week.
