'To brave problems, Iranian and Turkish clerics should team up'

​Secretary General of the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thought received former head of the top religious center in Turkey, Muhammad Goudars on the sideline of the 31st edition of the Islamic Unity Conference, placing stress on more cooperation in the event, reported Taqrib News (TNA).

Ayatollah Araki place emphasis on the importance of unity and strengthening relation among clerics in the World of Islam noting, "the scholars of the two countries of Iran and Turkey can work in tandem so as to gain good results."

Referring to the historical background of Isalmic Republi of Iran and Turkey and the standing cultural affinity between the two countries, Ayatollah Araki went on to say, "the existing religious problems can be solved by more cooperation among scholars and religious thinkers in the two neighboring two countries."

"This cooperation and collaboration should be practical; It is not enough to just speak about unity and cooperation," asserted the secretary General of Iran top unity center noting an institute can be established so as to provide the ground for clerics and thinkers to continue their cooperation.

According to the Secretary General of the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thought enemies aim at Muslims' unity and solidarity; in his term, "they attempt to part Muslim nations in a bid to achieve their objectives."

Ayatollah Araki urged Muslims to be much more aware than before; inasmuch as, the enemies spare no effort to fulfill their aims in the world of Islam.
