Addressing a group of Iranian officials and guests to the 31st edition of the Islamic Unity Conference, Supreme Leader of Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei underlined, "That they claim they wish to declare Quds as the capital city of occupied Palestine signals their affliction and inability," reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei received on Wednesday chiefs of Iran's government branches, Iran-based foreign countries' ambassadors and the participants of the 31st edition of the International Islamic Unity Conference which is underway in Iran capital city of Tehran.
 
International Islamic unity conference marks the anniversary birthday of God’s final messenger, the Great Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), placing much more stress on the prime importance of unity and solidarity among Muslims providing with proper ground to put concentrated effort to brave the existing setbacks and reviving modern Islamic civilization.

The event began in Tehran with 520 dignitaries, ministers, scholars, university professors, and representatives from scientific as well as cultural associations in attendance.
