Bangladeshi activist in his speech at the ‘Second Global Conference for Union of Resistance Scholars’ in the Lebanese capital of Beirut, entitled "The Promise of Truth - Palestine between the Balfour Declaration and the Divine Promise", on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Balfour Declaration.

Regarding the crisis of the Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar, Badr al-Duja expressed concern over the ‘terrible situation’ of Rohingya refugees and the burning and destruction of their mosques and schools in Myanmar.

Badr al-Duja further added that more than one million Rohingya Muslims have fled to Bangladesh suffering violence and attacks even during their exile into Bangladesh.

He also noted that Rohingya's homes and villages have been occupied after their exile into neighboring country.

As a result of clashes between Rohingya Muslims and Myanmar Buddhist monks and following crackdown of the government on the religious minority, hundreds of thousands of the oppressed Muslims fled to Bangladesh.

The situation of refugees has raised alarms by international bodies and rights groups calling for serious probe into the situation of Rohingya Muslims as well as humanitarian aids for them.
