Senior Iranian cleric:

“World Union of Muslim Women is in line with realization of Islamic proximity.”

A top Iranian cleric stressed the aim behind launching the World Union of Muslim Women was to conduit the great potentialities of Muslim women in line with realization of Islamic across Muslim world.

Grand Ayatollah Mohsen Araki, Secretary General of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought in an exclusive interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) referred to the necessary phases of proximity as theorization, globalization and operation saying that the World Forum is taking the third stage of the great effort.

On the formation of the World Union of Muslim Women he said,” We are now through the third phase of proximity which is launching different groups including Islamic Peace Committee, World Union of Muslim Women.” and vowed to launch other unions in near future.

Iranian scholar said the reason for the turmoil is Muslim countries is a general lassitude noting,” The secret behind outbreak of Islamic Awakening is the same issue because popular movements form to meet the shortcoming and bringing life into societies.”

He referred to importance of proximity among Islamic denominations, negative outcomes of lassitude in Muslim communities and also plethora of sectarian intrigues among Muslims demanding for more effort for realization of Islamic unity.
