Mowlavi Abdul Hamid Esmaeel Zehi, Friday prayer leader in Sistan and Baluchestan Province, in his weekly sermon called Shia as a brother and that Sunni community does not approve the least trouble for Shia Muslims, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

He said,” We will never ally with the enemies of Iran system and have always rejected aggressors to the point that we have received threatening messages from them.”

“We follow the rules and our path is the path of moderation and fraternity with our Shia brothers.” The Sunni scholar said.

Manager of Sunni Dar al-Ulum in Zahedan and quoted grand Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Taskhiri, President of the Supreme Council at the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, as calling the graduation of Students a great achievement for promoting objectives of proximity.

He added,” Our path is that of proximity because we believe in closeness and fraternity of Shia and Sunni.”

Mowlavi Abdul Hamid stressed that religious beliefs of the people has to be in a national and popular form so that a better result is achieved through holding public meetings.

Prominent Sunni figure in Southeastern city of Zahedan stressed that paying attention to Sunni community is an advantage and a pride for Islamic Republic of Iran.

He called Iranian Sunni community as the best ambassadors of proximity and Islamic unity in the world.
