“Unity, Iranians’ best asset against hostile intrigues”

Mamusta Hessam El Din Mojtahedi, Friday prayer leader of Sanandaj, in Kurdistan Province, in his weekly sermon hailed unity of Iranian people and their obedience of leadership’s guidelines as proofs for development of Iran in different areas, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

On the 31st anniversary of Liberation of Khorramshahr, during Iran-Iraq war, the religious figure said,” Certainly Liberation of Khorramshahr and various other victories by Iranian forces happened in the light of unity and solidarity among different denominations, the very same feature that paved the way for improvement of the country during post-war era.”

He underscored cooperation of people in different political, cultural and social arenas saying that determination of Iran depends on all-out cooperation of people in different issues of the country.

“As far as unity and solidarity prevails between Islamic schools of thought, no enemy can intervene in the domestic affairs of Iran.” He noted.

He called for more vigilance of the Iranian people against intrigues of the enemies and underlined the importance of people’s participation in different political and economic affairs.

Prominent Sunni figure also hailed the high character of Imam Ali (AS), first Shia Imam and cousin of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) calling him as one of the greatest figures in the history of Islam.

He said,” Following the path of renowned religious figures have always been a successful solution against the plots of the enemies.”
