Glory, power of Islamic Ummah hinged to Islamic Unity 

The Head of Afghan City of Mazar Sharif’s Seminary, Hujjat-ul-Islam Halimi  in an interview with Taghrib News Agency (TNA) on October 20 on the sideline of the Islamic Unity Conference, while congratulating birth day anniversaries of the holy Prophet of Islam(PBUH) and Imam Jafar Sadiq (AS) said one of the greatest responsibilities bestowed to the Holy Prophet of Islam by the God Almighty, is inviting people to monotheism and this invitation does not stop by passing away of the Divine Messenger but should be pursued by clergies and disciples of the Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).

He said followers of Islam irrespective of their denomination have many things in common and about how should talk and behave while arguing with each other.
 
 He went on saying that they should talk in a very cordial and friendly manner and only pursue what is wright and should refrain from any insult and must behave very politely and amicably.
 
Ahmad Ali Mazari added that sometimes dialogs and arguments turn not to be mutually respectful, especially with followers of different sects which cause division within the Islamic community and is considered as an unforgiveable sin.
 
He said, in case Muslims moves in direction of forming a unified Ummah and if Muslim scholars invite people to close their ranks as a united Ummah and talk and argue peacefully among themselves and with followers of other denominations, then we can be witness to unity and solidarity in the Islamic world.
 
 
The interview with the Afghan scholar was conducted on the sideline of the 35th International Islamic Unity Conference.
 
The 35th edition of Islamic Unity Conference is underway in the capital Tehran on October 19-24 mainly in virtual meetings of Muslim scholars, intellectuals and thinkers from across the globe. The theme for Islamic Unity Conference 2021 is "Islamic Unity, Peace and Avoidance of Division and Conflict in the World of Islam."
