Prominent Syrian cleric related on the blocks challenging Islamic unity hailing the Islamic nation for maintaining resistance and targeting Israeli regime.

Sheikh Abdullah Mohammad Katamtu, deputy of assembly of Syrian clerics in an interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) conducted on the sideline of the 33^rd Islamic Unity Conference warned of Islamic nation’s ignorance on its true stance as the biggest challenge for Islamic unity.
 
He said,” If Islamic nation cannot recognize its particular stance, it will not note its mission, problem which will eventually lead to its annihilation.”
 
The cleric noted,” Almighty God has called Muslim nation among best world nations and the special mission of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) since his revelation to the end was to lead the nation.”
 
Syrian scholar referred to the resistance and Jihad (struggle for Almighty God) and said,” Islamic nation has targeted the Israeli regime with its resistance as the two ideologies teach us how to block the path of arrogant powers in the world.”
 
Top cleric made the comments on the sideline of the 33^rd Islamic Unity Conference which was held on 14-16 November 2019 in Tehran.
 
350 religious and political figures from across the world of Islam and 250 Iranian guests attended the Islamic Unity Conference 2019 which was held under the title of “Ummah Unity in Defense of al-Quds.”
