Sunni cleric stresses al-Quds as theme of 33rd Islamic Unity Conference
World Muslims, including Palestinian nation, follow a single motto “Quds is ours” as the holy mosque is the place from where the Prophet of Islam (PBUH) ascended to heaven and the objective for all liberal people.

Mamusta Molla Qader Qaderi, prayer leader of the Sunni community in the city of Paveh, Iranian Kurdish-populated Province of Kermanshah in an interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) conducted on the eve of the 33rd Islamic Unity Conference hailed the theme of the event on al-Quds.
He said,” World Muslims, including Palestinian nation, follow a single motto “Quds is ours” as the holy mosque is the place from where the Prophet of Islam (PBUH) ascended to heaven and the objective for all liberal people.”
Member of programming council for Sunni seminaries in Iran said,” If Quds is liberated, the first Qibla (praying direction for Muslims) is returned to them” urging all Muslims to resist for that end.
Senior Sunni scholar also highlighted the influences of Islamic Unity Conference in bringing Muslims together.
He referred to a meeting of Hamas, Palestinian resistance movement with the Supreme Leader of Islamic Revolution and said,” The feedbacks of the upcoming Islamic Unity Conference will certainly echo in the world of Islam.”
Mamusta Molla Qader Qaderi made the comments on the eve of the 33rd Islamic Unity Conference which is annually held by Iran’s World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought concurrent with the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) dubbed as Islamic Unity Week.
This year the participants of the 33rd conference will discuss “Islamic Unity in Defense of Al-Quds”.
