Jafar Ghanadbashi, political expert on western Asia affairs in an interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) related on the role of Saudi Arabia and the Zionist regime in fueling the recent protests in Iraq as twitter-based survey reveals some 80 percent of those beginning the demonstrations were provoked by Saudi sources.

“On the other hand the US and Saudi-affiliated media endeavored to support the demonstrations in order to encourage more people to join the protests” he said.

Jafar Ghanadbashi added,” The US embassy in Baghdad called on Iraqi government for flexible behavior against the protesters, a green light for their agents that they will be supported if they rise.”

He stressed,” Among other signs for interference of the trio in Iraq protests is that none of the countries agree with the present situation in Iraq as the Arab country is moving towards uniting states loyal to Ahlul Bayt (AS), a fact unbearable for Riyadh.”

Iranian political expert called Saudi Arabia as the pioneer of fueling division in the world of Islam denouncing the Arab kingdom for promoting Wahhabism in Takfiri (excommunication) movements and dispersing the Shia and Sunni communities in Iraq.

He noted Iraq’s efforts to lead its diplomatic relations towards independence and maintaining its sovereignty besides active cooperation with all countries though Saudi Arabia cannot tolerate that.

Jafar Ghanadbashi concluded,” Unity between Iran and Iraq can be an Islamic solidarity and lead to advancement of Muslim world.”
