Participation of different denominations in the great march of Arba’een manifests the unity of Muslims from all schools of thought and foils intrigues hatched by enemies, the US and Tel Aviv regime.

Mamusta Abdul Salam Mohammadi, prayer leader of the Sunni community in Hussein Abad, in an interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) highlighted the loyalty of Sunni community for the third Shia Imam, Imam Hussein (AS) stressing that the participation of different Islamic denominations in Arba’een ceremonies manifests solidarity in the world of Islam.
 
On the eve of Arba’een, anniversary of 40^th day after martyrdom of Imam Hussein (AS), third Shia Imam and grandson of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH), Iranian Sunni scholar said participation of Shia and Sunni Muslims in the great march of Arba’een is voicing loyalty to the third Shia Imam and also renewal of pledges with objectives of Ashura.
 
According to the cleric the Sunni references approves pilgrimage to tombs and holy shrines of religious figures and Imams including the holy shrine of Imam Hussein (AS).
 
“Participation of different denominations in the great march of Arba’een manifests the unity of Muslims from all schools of thought and foils intrigues hatched by enemies, the US and Tel Aviv regime” said the scholar.
 
He praised the high character of Imam Hussein (AS) as a global figure and not the imam belonging to merely one denomination saying,” All Muslims, Shia and Sunni and all liberal people across the globe are learning lessons of brevity and counter-oppression.”
 
He highlighted the loyalty of the Sunni community for Ahlul Bayt (AS) similar to that expressed by Shia Muslims.
 
Iranian Sunni scholar made the remarks on the eve of the Arba’een ceremony as millions of Muslims from across the world head for the Iraqi holy city of Karbala to mark the 40^th day after martyrdom of Imam Hussein (AS) and 72 of his companions in the Battle of Karbala back in 632 AH fighting the tyrant ruler of his time Yazid ibn Muawiyyah.
