Akhoond Abdul Hay Mirza Ali, manager of the Sunni seminary in Aqqala, related on the role of Arba’een ceremony in boosting solidarity of Muslims from different denominations calling that a factor to foil the plots by enemies, Taqrib News Agency (TNA) quoted Mehr News as reporting.
 
On the eve of Arba’een, the 40th days after martyrdom of Imam Hussein (AS), he stressed the Arba’een ceremonies as a manifestation of unity among Muslims.

He praised the third Shia Imam for his uprising against oppression and the sacrifice he made to revive the rights of the oppressed as well as brining reform for the then Muslim nation.
 
According the Akhoond Abdul Hayy Mirza Ali, another major objective of Imam Hussein (AS) was to revive the Islamic principle of “command the good and forbid the evil” which is also ignored in the contemporary world of Islam.
 
The Iranian Sunni scholar said,” Imam Hussein (AS) taught us resistance and it is upon us to mark days like Ashura and Tasua review the braveries of the third Shia Imam.”
 
He stressed,”The great march of Arba’een unites Muslims and foils the plots of enemies” calling all Muslims to foil the plots with our all-out participation in Arba’een march.
 
Ashura is the tenth day of Muharram and martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hussein (AS), the third Shia Imam and grandson of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) who rose against the tyrant ruler of his time Yazid ibn Muawiayyah.
 
Imam Hussein (AS) and 72 of his companions were martyred in the Battle of Karbala on Ashura and 40 days after the event is also marked by Muslims from across the globe on Arba’een as millions of pilgrims march all the way to the holy shrine of the third Shia Imam in the Iraqi holy city of Karbala.
