“Iran, messenger of peace for Hormuz Strait basin countries”, MP

Iranian Member of Parliament hailed the country as the messenger of peace for countries bordering Hormuz Strait stressing that Hormuz Peace Initiative has capabilities to quell the tense ambiance created by the United States and its allies.

Mohammad Javad Jamali Nobandegani, deputy of the Committee of National Security and Foreign policy in an interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) related his views on Hormuz Peace Initiative (HOPE) recently discussed by Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani at the United Nations General Assembly stressing the capacities of the plan to alleviate the tense ambiance and war mongering policies created by the United States and its allies in the region.
 
He referred to feedbacks of the Iranian President trip to New York and the US administration shortcomings to issue visa for the Iranian delegation.
 
He said,” The move did not lead to the objectives pursued by Washington as it turned to a negative propaganda to deface the US administration, a leading claimant of human rights, democracy and freedom.”
 
Representative of the people in Fasa County noted the achievements to be brought for the Islamic Republic as the UNGA has always been an opportunity to discuss the different issues among nations and cultures.
 
Iranian MP said the speech by Iranian President can project Iran’s stance on regional and global issues and noted that materialization of Iran’s proposal for countries neighboring Strait of Hormuz, HOPE, is dependent upon Iran calling the Persian Gulf states and the UN to endeavor for establishment of peace and stability as well as avoiding any military confrontation in the region.
