Iranians donate blood as a tradition in Ramadan (photo)

People in the Iranian city of Yazd donate blood on Ramadan nights. Blood donation is a tradition particularly pursued by the people as the month of Ramadan is a time for doing charity and the time might see a lower donation as the people fast, abstaining from eating and drinking from dawn to dusk. This is especially valuable since the blood donation has also been less welcomed due to the COVID-19 crisis across the country.
