As Iran allows reopening of mosques, people in the capital Tehran marked the first night of Laylat al-Qadr in Arg Mosque maintaining the sanitary protocols announced to prevent spread of the new coronavirus infection. Laylat ql-Qadr or the Night of Decree, Night of Destiny or Night of Value is the night when Qur’an was first sent down from heaven. The last ten days of Ramadan are especially blessed nights when Muslims hold vigils, pray and repent.
