Prominent Lebanese prayer leaders denounced the recent visit made by the US Secretary of State to the occupied Palestine highlighting Israeli interests as the sole concern for Washington.

Seyyed Ali Fadhl Allah, prayer leader of Beirut criticized the visit made by US Secretary of State to the occupied lands amid Tel Aviv threats against Lebanon and slammed his support for the Zionist regime of Israel, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
He said,” The US has a history of support merely for Israeli and its own interests totally ignorant to benefits of other nations.”
 
Sheikh Ali Da’moush, deputy of Hezbollah executive council in his Friday sermon said the visit made by deputy of the US Secretary of State to Lebanon was a complement to the regional tour by Mike Pompeo in line with renewal of regional alliances, injecting new hope and also provoking them against Hezbollah and the resistance movement.
 
He added,” Lebanon should oppose the US whose withdrawal from Syria translates to failure of its project for the Arab country.”
 
Sheikh Ali Yassin, leader of scholars in Tyre in southern Lebanon, noted,” Our experiences reject the US beneficial for the Arabs, Muslims and world liberal nations since its only concern is the interests of itself and the Tel Aviv regime.”
