Malaysian capital of Kuala Lumpur has hosted international seminar on coexistence of religions coexistence with focus on lifestyle of Imam Reza (AS) eighth Shia Imam.

Iranian and Malaysian religious researchers and elites from different Islamic denominations have participated in the conference on role of religious teachings on coexistence of faiths with focus on the lifestyle of Imam Reza (AS) at headquarter of International Institute of Advanced Islamic Studies (IAIS) in the capital Kuala Lumpur, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
Mohammad Hashem Kamali, director of research institute of IAIS in this seminar stressed peace and security as achievements of coexistence among people hailing all prophets as harbingers of peace, security and friendly behavior towards followers of other religions.
 
He referred to gradual distraction of religious leaders and their rejection of peaceful life with other religions.
 
He added,” Relations between people can be safeguarded only when they are based on logical and fair criteria and a fair school of thought is the sole successful school to determine the relations between the people.”
 
The one day seminar on coexistence of religions was jointly held by Malaysia’s research center of Asia West East Center, International Institute of Advanced Islamic Studies (IAIS), cultural deputy at the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS) and Iran’s cultural attaché in Malaysia on Tuesday.
