Iranian Jewish MP:

“Iran’s war on enemies, war of humanity on apostasy”

Iranian MP referred the historical tolerance and coexistence of Iranian nation hailing the mutual respect of different groups for religious sanctities of each other.

Siamak Moreh Sadeq, representative of the Iranian Jewish community in Parliament attended the ceremony for interfaith solidarity in Iran whose war on enemies is in fact war on apostasy, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
He said,” If western culture experienced coexistence following appearance of Laicism and secularism, the achievement has historical and religious background.”
 
Representing the Jewish community in the conference on spiritual interfaith solidarity for honor of Iran, the Iranian Jewish MP noted recognition of religious differences in Iran which leads to respect for commonalities shared by them.
 
Political figure touched upon cooperation of all religious groups in fighting the enemies during the 1979 Islamic Revolution and Iraq war.
 
Siamak Moreh Sadeq referred to support of the Iranian clerics for Jewish community and hailed the positive view of the nation for the Jewish minority.
 
He stressed,” We believe that based on the thoughts by the late founder of Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Khomeini (RA) and under the leadership of Ayatollah Khamenei, no extremist action against religious minorities will be taken.”
 
Iranian MP concluded,” The enemy standing against Islamic Republic is neither Christianity, Judaism or other religions but merely apostasy; hence, Iran’s war with enemies is the war of humanity against apostasy.”
