Cleric calls for vigilance of Muslim nations against US policies

Member of Iran’s Society of Seminary Teachers of Qom met with Malian official calling Muslims to stand vigil against inhumane US policies.

Ayatollah Sheikh Abbas Ka’bi, senior Iranian cleric met with Seyyed Mohammad Sho’le, leader of al-Rahman movement in Mali stressed the key role of Islamic unity and coexistence among all Islamic denominations, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

He alluded to renowned sermon by Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) stressing importance of Islamic unity and called Iranian nation as a brother for Malian nation.

Official from Mali praised the cooperation of Shia and Sunni Muslims in his country to hold religious ceremonies.

He stressed the active cooperation of al-Rahman Shia movement with Malian government and also the interaction of other religious minorities with Muslim community in the country.

Seyyed Mohammad Sho’le is the leader of Shia movement, al-Rahman, one of the major parties in the western African country Mali backed by massive number of supporters in the country.
