Islamic Republic of Iran will be hosting the seventh round of inter-religious talks as part of conferences on religions for peace hosting South Korean intellectuals.

The seventh round of interfaith dialogues is scheduled to be held by Islamic Republic of Iran as Muslim, Buddhist and Christian figures from Iran and South Korea will discuss the theme of “Religion and Environment” in the Iranian capital in early December, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
This meeting will be attended by a board of South Korean religious figures including Catholic bishops, Buddhist leaders as well as Muslim figures from Islamic Republic of Iran.
 
The first round of interfaith dialogue discussed religious societies facing challenges of secularism in 2012 as the fifth round was held on religion, peace and global security in February 2015.
 
South Korean capital of Seoul hosted the sixth round of the interfaith meetings which discussed role of spirituality in man’s life.
 
With 16 member states from Asia and the Pacific Ocean, Korean Conference on Religion and Peace (KCRP) held its first meeting in 1976 in Singapore participated by 400 representatives from 10 different religions.
 
Korean Conference on Religion and Peace is a subsidiary for Asian Conference of Religions for Peace (ACRP) which was proposed in Belgium in 1974.
