Iran, Russia sign educational cooperation agreement

Director of Iran’s University of Islamic Denominations attended 100th anniversary of major Russia’s Varonezh State University on Friday signing educational cooperation agreement with the Russian academy.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Mohammad Hussein Mokhtari, director of the University of Islamic Denominations headed Iranian delegation attended the ceremony to mark 100 years of academic activities at Russia’s Varonezh State University on Friday, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
Director of Iran’s University of Islamic Denominations and Russian Varonezh State University signed joint cooperation agreement on the sideline of the 100th anniversary of the Russian academy.
 
The ceremony was also attended by directors of universities from Tajikistan, Germany, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and other countries.
 
A leading Russian university, history of Varonezh State University dates back to 1802. Home to over 120’000 students, the renowned university is proud of being the largest research university in the Central Black Earth Region of the Russian federation.
 
University of Islamic Denominations is also one of the prominent religious academies admitting students from all Islamic denominations from across the globe.
