Attended the press conference held on threshold of 32nd edition of the Islamic Unity Conference to be mounted concurrent with birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH), Ayatollah Mohsen Araki, Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought related on the theme and programs for the upcoming conference and the data on participants to the annual event, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
Addressing the reporters, Ayatollah Araki hailed the recent achievements of the unity activists in today's critical moments, noting they were going through the difficult period of time in which enemies concocting internal conspiracies and provoking showdown among Muslims from different Islamic sects and denominations.
"On account of sacrifices made by the defenders of the Holy Shrine and widespread attempts made by the world forum and other bodies involved in the area of unity, we will definitely foil the enemies' hatched schemes," pointed out the religious cleric.
"We are grateful to God Almighty that all the converging forces in the world are on the verge of a a great triumph and we will celebrate and mark the commence of this victory at the unity conference, " pointed out President of Iran's top unity center.
Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought announced that a new pagewas being opened up in the World of Islam in which Muslims were witnessed to the overcoming of a concurrent flow.
According to Ayatollah Araki, the 32nd edition of the international Islamic Unity Conference 2018 will be attended by prominent faced from 100 Islamic countries.
"Some 10 commissions to be mounted on the sideline of the Intel. Islamic Unity conference," pointed out the Secretary General of the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic schools of thought.
According to Ayatollah Araki, "among other activities on the sideline of the Islamic Unity Conference 2018 will be poetry reading meetings and celebrations for the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH)."
Entitled "Quds, Axis for Unity of Islamic Ummah ", the 32nd edition of International Islamic Unity Conference on the occasion of Unity week and the birthday of God’s final messenger, the Great Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is scheduled to be held from the 24th to 26th of November, 2018 (16-18 lunar calendar month of Rabi-ul-Awwal, 1440) in Iran Capital City of Tehran.
The theme of the event shows, obviously enough, facing the standing challenges ahead of Palestine is our main concern; given that, more responsibilities will be upon our shoulders and more effort should be made to brave the existing problems.
It is proven beyond the shadow of doubt, the main setback from which the world of Islam suffer is the occupation of Palestine by a racist and bloodthirsty criminal regime; this occupation is the main reason behind the existing crises, clashes, backwardness, and dispersion in the world of Islam which left Palestinians' houses destroyed, and many people displaced and killed.
