Hujjat-ul-Islam Seyyed Sadr-eddin Qapanchi, top prayer leader of Najaf, has slammed the United States over imposing sanction against some popular mobilization commanders calling that “clash with world” rather than diplomacy, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
Iraqi cleric in his Friday sermon expressed concern over disintegrating situation of the world and dismissed the US President’s efforts for dictatorial control over the world.
 
Prayer leader of Najaf stressed perseverance of Iraqi nation in pursuit of its demands and said,” The US confronts the campaign against terrorism and Daesh and ignores assassins of Jamal Khashoggi.”
 
Hujjat-ul-Islam Qapanchi referred to Zionist airstrikes against Gaza and the severe response by Palestinian resistance and said,” The fact that different nations can respond to the nations and these strikes has led to collapse of the Zionist regime.”
 
He denounced the inaction of the international community and Arab countries against Zionist strikes.
 
Iraqi scholar made the remarks in his Friday sermon leading the Friday prayer in the Iraqi holy city of Najaf.
