“Religious proximity, belief rather than tactic”, Iranian cleric

Prominent Iranian cleric underlined religious proximity as a deep belief rejecting those who relate that to a tactic.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Reza Ramezani, former head of the Islamic center of Hamburg, related on proximity among religions calling that a belief among Muslim communities in order to boost solidarity in the world of Islam in a bid to launch Islamic bodies whose unity would lead to political, cultural and social determination of Muslims across the globe, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
On the wake of Arba’eeb ceremony, Iranian cleric referred to Imam Hussein (AS) as an example not only followed by the Shia community but also for Muslims from all denominations since the uprising of the third Shia Imam meant to revive the forgotten lifestyle of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).
 
Member of Iran’s Assembly of Experts noted that building and boosting ties with the Sunni centers as a high priority for the Islamic center of Hamburg.
 
“Religious proximity should be maintained as belief and not merely a tactic since proximity has been the lifestyle of Ahlul Bayt (AS), household of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH)”, said Hujjat-ul-Islam Ramezani.
 
He added,” Lifestyle of Ahlul Bayt (AS), particularly Imam Sadeq (AS) and Imam Reza (AS) and their relations with the Sunni community indicates that proximity is a certain belief for Shia as its sacred text approve.”
