Religious cleric Hojjatol Islam Val Moslemin Reza Ramezanie Gilanie says Imam Hussein (PBUH), the third infallible Shiite Imam, rose in revolt so as to defend Islamic ideologies as well as the holy book of Qur’an, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
"Ashura and Karbala tragedy offer Muslim nations as well as people worldwide the lessons of resistance and sacrifice," pointed out the seminary instrcutor noting the event can be held as the school though which Islamic principles and culture are manifested.

Some 40 days after Ashura tragedy (tenth day of the lunar calendar month of Muharram), Muslims observe Arba’een to pay tribute to the grandson of Islam's Prophet (PBUH), who was martyred in the desert plains of the city along with his 72 companions some 14 centuries ago.
