Shia scholar highlights moderation as Islamic feature

Prominent Iranian cleric has hailed moderation as feature of Muslims and referred to Imams recommending Muslims to maintain the middle path in all aspects of their lives.

Ayatollah Ali Akbar Rashad, head of the policy making council in Tehran Seminary described Muslims as people who take the middle path in all actions, duties, morality and their religious missions, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
He quoted Imam Ali (AS), first Shia Imam and cousin of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH), forbidding Muslims from those who suffice to the least when carrying out a commitment.
 
The cleric said,” These people will confine to the least when committed to fulfill a duty and demand the most for their actions.”
 
Trustee of Imam Reza (AS) Seminary lauded Muslim man as a moderate person and Islamic nation as a nation following middle path.
