Senior Shia cleric has called for vigilance of participants in Arbaeen procession stressing that Imam Hussein (AS) belongs to the whole humanity.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Seyyed Tofigh Rezaee, attended a meeting of scholars in Imam Sadeq (AS) seminary in Iran’s Kurdistan Province, referred to the critical era amid which Arbaeen 2018 will be held and stressed the occasion as an opportunity to introduce true Islam to world people, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
He referred to the great congregation of people in Arbaeen ceremony calling that an Islamic and human gathering which has absorbed the media across the globe.
 
The cleric hailed the participation of non-Muslims in the holy city of Karbala during Arbaeen and called that a particular opportunity to introduce Islam and Shia ideology to the people and voice disavowal of Muslims from Daesh and other terrorist groups.
 
He criticized the deviate and anti-religious groups which plot to dissolve religious thoughts in people and stressed necessity of clerics accompanying the people during the ceremony.
 
Hujjat-ul-Islam Seyyed Tofigh Rezaee demanded pilgrims, scholars and all participants in Arbaeen ceremony to stand vigil against deviate groups which might target solidarity of pilgrims from all religions and denominations since the third Shia Imam belongs to the whole humanity.
 
Millions of Muslims have headed to the holy city of Karbala to attend Arbaeen, 40th day after martyrdom of Imam Hussein (AS), third Shia Imam and grandson of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) in the Battle of Karbala back in 680 AD.
