Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Ahmadi, director of cultural committee of Arbaeen, called Arbaeen march as a peaceful move against violent aggressive measures by enemies who have not been tolerant of the ceremony since early days, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
He said,” Since long different measures have been taken by security centers of some Arab states” and referred to research centers in the Zionist and western countries to analyze the Islamic ceremony.
He warned of measures to analyze Arbaeen ceremony in an effort to hire capabilities against Muslims, particularly Shia saying,” We expect that enemies make moves to spark conflict between Shia and Sunni as well as Arab and non-Arab in order to turn the great march into a tension between Muslims.”
The cleric referred to recent intrigues in Iran and Iraq hatched under the name of Iranians and lauded both nations for foiling the plots tactfully.
Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Ahmadi demanded Arbaeen pilgrims to stay vigil against possible plots and avoid any tension in case of possible issues.
Arbaeen is the 40th
day after martyrdom of Imam Hussein (AS), third Shia Imam and grandson of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) martyred in the Battle of Karbala with 72 of his household and companions back in 680 AD.
Millions of Muslims attend the ceremony in a massive march taken as a sign of loyalty to the third Shia Imam.
