9 Oct 2018 - 12:25

New book by two Iranian researchers contributes to both the world of science and religion as it studies the view of Muslim scientists on psychology.

“Psychology in View of Muslim Scientists” is the title for recent book co-authored by Rahim Narouee and Hassan Abdi from Iran in a bid to maintain a new approach to psychology and Islamic philosophy, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

Part of the abstract in this book reads,” This book is in two parts, the first section addresses BS students of psychology to define the most important psychological terms in a very simple language including those on self, abstract self, perfection of self and eternality of self based on logical and philosophical methodology.”

This section diverts from the current psychological approach which is a result of methods merely testing the different aspects of man mind.

The second section discusses the behavioral basis, a fundamental topic in both psychology and Islamic philosophy.

“Psychology in View of Muslim Scientists” is published by the Hawza and Daneshgah research center.
