Hamburg Mosque welcomes non-Muslim visitors on open doors day

Mosque Open Day has been held in the German city of Hamburg welcoming non-Muslims to Imam Ali (AS) Mosque in a bid to introduce Islamic lifestyle.


Islamic Center of Hamburg which is among initiators of naming October 3rd, the national day of Germany dubbed as the Day of German Unity, as the Mosque Open Day to propose German society and non-Muslims familiarize with Islamic culture in their worshiping place, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
During the ceremony held between 10:00 am- 6:00 pm, guides in the Islamic center of Hamburg provide the visitors with complete details on architecture of Imam Ali (AS) Mosque prior to explanations on Islamic ideology.

 
The academy mansion and library are the next stops in the visit which make the venue for an exhibition of Islamic-Iranian art works.

 
Feedback reflected by a number of visitors reveal a noticeable change in their minds on Islam and the Islamic culture.

 
Other parts of the program include:
 
*Introducing the activities of the Islamic center and Imam Ali (AS) Mosque by guides at certain times
*Exhibition of handicrafts and oriental arts
*Exhibition of calligraphy
*Exhibition of German-language books
Exhibition of Iranian products
Also a certain space in the yard was allocated for amusing the children and serving the guests with Iranian cuisine, tea and coffee.
