Syrian elites propose satellite channel for Islamic proximity activities

A delegation of Syrian media, academic and executive authorities have visited Iran’s University of Islamic Denominations (UID) and proposed a satellite channel to be launched for promoting Islamic proximity.


A board of scientific, arts and academic figures from Syria were welcome by executives of Iran’s University of Islamic Denominations and discussed the grounds for mutual academic cooperation between the two countries, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
The visiting Syrian delegate announced their full support for launching a branch of Iranian religious academy in their country.
 
They also referred to role of social media in expanding the moderate role model of the University of Islamic Denominations and called for launching a satellite channel to introduce its proximity models.
 
Syrian delegate also hailed Iran’s struggle in confrontation with terrorist Takfiri groups, promoting true Islam and also supporting the Syrian nation.
 
Syrian delegate noted,” Daesh is the brainchild of ignorance and blind prejudice” stressing that extremist and Takfiri ideologies can be stemmed by proximity activities.
