‘Iraqi Shia, Sunni united to beat Daesh’, cleric

Iraqi nation achieved major victory over Daesh as Shia and Sunni communities in the country united in one body.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Seyyed Ali Ghazi Askar, head of the Supreme Leader Bureau of Hajj, met with delegation of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought hailing the multi-denomination group for convening on an Islamic proximity project, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
Seyyed Kazem al Jaberi, representative of the world forum from Iraq, stressed perseverance of the Arab country besides Islamic Republic in confrontation with US plots and hailed the strong ties between two neighboring nations.
 
Hujjat-ul-Islam Ghazi Askar in this meeting stressed solidarity of Muslims and called familiarization of Muslims during Hajj pilgrimage as one of the greatest recommendations for the spiritual Islamic journey.
 
“Iraqi nation beat Daesh terrorists by maintaining Shia, Sunni unity” said the cleric and hailed achievements of Iraq in beating the terrorist group.
 
Representative of the Supreme Leader warned,” The US and its puppets avert independence of Iraq because cooperation of the two countries will build a barrier against their satanic plots.”
