Persian version of “Cultural Analysis” published
Persian translation of major book by Jim McGuigan, professor at Loughborough University in UK is published in order to provide a proper role model to apply cultural theories for different issues of the contemporary world.

“Cultural Analysis” by Jim McGuigan has recently been translated into Persian by Sajjad Alizadeh and published by Iran’s Publication of Culture, Arts and Communications research center, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
The author, in this book, has detailed a variety of subjects including celebrity death, festivals and urban regeneration, race and multicultural controversy, popular television and also social significance of the all-purpose mobile communication device in a privatized and individualized way of life.
The Perspective on cultural analysis presented in this book aims to be multidimensional in its approach to scholarship and oriented towards the critical study of issues that are of public interest.
Jim McGuigan is Professor of Cultural Analysis at Loughborough University, UK. He is the author of several books, including Cultural Populism, Culture and the Public Sphere, Modernity and Postmodern Culture, Rethinking Cultural Policy and also Cultural Analysis.
