‘Defense Industry’ anniversary was marked in a ceremony with Iranian President Hassan Rouhani in attendance.

 
Under the banner of ‘Defense Industry, Manifestation of National Production and Defensive Sovereignty’, the opening ceremony of a gathering to mark ‘Defense Industry’ anniversary was held with Iranian President Hassan Rouhani in attendance, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

President Rouhani, at the outset of the event and prior to the opening ceremony, paid a visit to the Exhibition of Achievements and Capabilities of the Defense Industry.

Attended by the Vice President for Science and Technology Sorena Sattari, Minister of Defense Brigadier General Amir Hatami, and senior officials of the ministry, the event was mounted in Iranian capital city of Tehran.

It is noteworthy, an Iranian jet fighter, a sophisticated one, was also unveiled on the sidelines of the gathering.
