Hujjat-ul-Islam Abbasali Soleimani, representative of the Supreme Leader in Sistan and Baluchistan, referred to the role of Saudi Arabia in crimes committed in Yemen calling Muslim leaders to react against the massacre of impoverished Yemeni nation.
He slammed the invasion of Saudi forces on a school bus carrying children as proof for mercilessness of the Arab kingdom on little children.
“Rulers of Muslim countries should take immediate measures against the crime and denounce Saudi regime over the tragedy” he stressed.
The cleric referred to global reactions against the recent killing of Yemeni civilians by Saudi-led coalition and said,” The US government has stayed silent over the massacre of Yemeni civilians and that shows the strategic relations between Washington and Riyadh.”
He slammed some countries for not denouncing Yemen tragedy even as a show off act and called that a reason that they approve the catastrophe in their hearts.
Scores of Yemeni children have been killed in Saudi airstrikes that targeted a school bus in the province of Sa’ada on Thursday August 16. According to a CNN report the bomb used by the Saudi-led coalition in the deadly attack was sold as part of a US State Department-sanctioned arms deal with Saudi Arabia.
