A major figure for Shia and Sunni Muslims, Imam Hussein (AS), third Shia Imam and grandson of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) is the subject for latest book by Iranian author.

“Weeping for Hussein (AS)” is the title for latest book by Seyyed Mohammad Hussein Mirbaqeri, relating on the sufferings of third Shia Imam and weeping by sacred characters for the oppression imposed on Imam Hussein (AS).
 
The book also includes the anecdotes and allusions to laments on martyrdom of Imam Hussein (AS) by Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) and Ahlul Bayt (AS).
 
“Weeping for Hussein (AS)” is in three sections titled,” Particular View of Ahlul Bayt (AS) on Holding Mourning ceremony for Imam Hussein (AS)”, “Presence of Angels in Ceremonies Marking Ahlul Bayt (AS)” and also “Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) Promising Hazrat Zahra (AS) for Annual Mourning Ceremonies for Imam Hussein (AS).”
 
Third Shia Imam and son of Imam Ali (AS), first Shia Imam and Hazarat Zahra (AS), daughter of Prophet Mohammad, Imam Hussein (AS) and 72 of his companions including his family members were martyred by the tyrant of the time, Yazid ibn Muawiayah in the Battle of Karbala back in 680 AD.
 
Shia Muslims across the globe hold one of their biggest congregations on Tasua and Ashura (9th and 10th of Muharram, first month of the Muslim lunar calendar) to mark the bravery and martyrdom of Imam Hussein (AS) and his companions in Karbala.
