Zionist atrocities on al-Quds pursue sectarian clashes
Sheikh Mohammad Hussein, senior mufti of al-Quds, warned of the recent atrocities by Israeli settlers against al-Quds Mosque compound threatening the security of the holy site and said the move is aimed to spark sectarian rift, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

He hailed the support of Palestinian people for al-Aqsa Mosque calling international bodies to put an end to atrocities against al-Aqsa Mosque.

Nearly one thousand Israeli settlers have stormed al-Aqsa Mosque compound under Israeli forces protection.

As carrying heinous moves against the holy site has turned to a daily routine for Israeli settlers, Zionist regime is paving the way for full domination of the mosque in order to divide the space and time between Jews and Muslims.

Back in 1972 Israel had allocated a space in al-Aqsa Mosque to the Jews though following the massacre of Muslims by Israeli regime in 1994, the mosque has been divided into two sections for Muslims and Jews. Tel Aviv regime does not permit Muslims to call Adhan or say prayers in the holy site on any Jewish celebration.
