Cleric vows Muslims to manifest Islamic unity during Hajj
Top Iranian cleric counted the various achievements of Hajj pilgrimage and highlighted boosting Islamic fraternity beyond each country and also exchange of views with scientific and religious elites as capabilities of the major Islamic ritual.
 
Hujjat-ul-Islam Seyyed Ali Ghazi Askar, head of Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs, quoted the Supreme Leader of Islamic Revolution to underline unity as the key demand of Muslims at present since the enemies intend to divide Muslims in line with its own interests and stressed,” We will manifest religious fraternity and unity with the world of Islam during Hajj 2018.”
 
He said Hajj should not be viewed superficially so that a political issue hinders our participation in the annual ritual.
 
Iranian cleric slammed enemies for spending multi billion dollars to crackdown Shia community and said,” While we annihilate terrorism they propagate us to be alleged supporters of terrorism.”
 
“Hajj provides us with the opportunity to respond political and ideological misconceptions and also express features of Islamic Revolution without any expenses” said the scholar.
 
Hujjat-ul-Islam Ghazi Askar alluded to Imam Ali (AS), first Shia Imam calling Hajj a means to strengthen Islam.
 
Muslims from across the globe have begun departing for Saudi Arabia for Hajj 2018 which will commence on Sunday, 19th of August 2018 and will continue till Friday, 24th of August 2018. This is the tentative date as the actual date is contingent on the sighting of the moon of Dhul Hijjah.
