Hojjatol Islam Mojtaba Kalbasi, director of Mahdism Center in the Iranian holy city of Qom Held Hajj as the symbol of glory and determination of Islamic Ummah urging Muslims to use the ground provided during the ritual so as to boost unity in the World of Islam, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

Elsewhere in his remark, the religious cleric severed any possible tie between the Hajj ritual and political relation among countries, noting Hajj has nothing to do with political relations of Iran and Saudi Arabia.

"The existing regional issues as well as political relations or stance should not breed any problem for pilgrims," pointed out the religious cleric.
