“Arrogant powers in pursuit of deviating Islamic denominations”

Mamusta Ebrahim Sorkhabi, new representative of the Supreme Leader in Sunni affairs in Piranshahr in an interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) slammed arrogant powers for diverging followers of different Islamic denominations and expansion of wayward behaviors among Muslims.

He said,” The most prominent mission of the scholars and greatest demand of the Muslim world to confront the issue is to increase knowledge and insight of the youths.”

The cleric also stressed boosting the role of mosques and seminaries in order to prevent their entrapment in hostile intrigues.

“Amid the present critical era, maintaining solidarity between Shia and Sunni is a necessity for Islam” said the scholar and added,” To spread division between Shia and Sunni is a means hired by enemies to damage the holy religion of Islam.”

Mamusta Sorkhabi noted religious figures as a mighty sanctuary against invasions and deviations as well as the axis for boosting culture.

Iranian Sunni scholar said,” Clerics are expected to make constant efforts for spiritual guidance and transcendence of religious values by using great Islamic resources.
