'Western civilization feeds on people's deficiency' , cleric
Delivering his speech on 'Topple of Western Civilization', prominent Iranian cleric counted the reasons for empowerment of the western civilization stressing once the people are powerful they would not submit to slavery or commands of other powers.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Alireza Panahian, senior Iranian cleric, in a speech delivered on the second day of international conference on 'Jerusalem al-Quds, eternal capital of Palestine' referred to the western civilization as the civilization of dominance and a result of dominance of some people over the majority, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
He stressed the only reason that leads to dominancy of international Zionism is the frailty of the people because once they are empowered they do not submit to the powers hence the western civilization is doomed to collapse.
He said," Although Islam firmly believes in freedom of the people the idea is not referred to in its religious texts because it basically recommends the people to be powerful and do not submit to anyone but God Almighty."
Hujjat-ul-Islam Panahian touched upon popular view over the issue of Palestine and said," Those who show no feelings for massacre of the Palestinian people are actually mesmerized by the western civilization and ignore oppression of other people."
Iranian cleric counted lack of unified leadership as the second reason for weakness of world people.
"People should join under a unified leadership beyond their geopolitical, racial and religious diversities" said the religious figure and urged world thinkers and liberal intellectuals to follow a leader from amongst themselves.
Senior cleric vowed that the freedom of the people under the leadership of the last saviors, Jesus Christ and Imam Mahdi (AS), a day when not only Palestine will be free but also dominance of the Zionists will totally end.
Hujjat-ul-Islam Alireza Panahian made the remarks at the opening of the second day of international al-Quds conference organized by New Horizon.
Over 50 prominent academicians, peace activists and media figures and anti-Zionist activists are attending a three-day event in the Iranian holy city of Mashhad to discuss the plight of Palestinian nation and exchange their views on the ways for freedom of a nation under Israeli siege for over seven decades.
