Palestine, old wound of Muslim world

Iranian international institute of Independent thinkers and artists, New Horizon, has held its 6th meeting on 'Al-Quds, eternal capital of Palestine' in the holy city of Mashhad on May 13 calling the issue of Palestine as an old wound in the world of Islam.

6th Int'l conference on Al-Quds, eternal capital of Palestine kicks off in Mashhad to stress necessity of world people and governments to attend the issue of Palestinian nation amid the much controversial measure by the US President Donald Trump to relocate the American embassy in Jerusalem al-Quds, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
Hossein Amir Abdollahian, Iran's former deputy of Foreign Ministry for Arab and African Affairs, in a message to the opening ceremony of the conference called Palestine as the old wound of Muslim world which started from Balfour.
 
He said the decision made by the US President Donald Trump to relocate American embassy in Jerusalem has opened a new chapter against which all countries have, are and will be reacting.
 
Iranian politician in his message said the US, under Israeli pressure, acts in a way which is not to the benefit of its own people.
 
Amir Abdullahian demanded the international conference to condemn the measure stressing that Islamic Republic of Iran is ready to cooperate with any country for the objective.
 
The message continued to vow the immediate liberation of Al-Quds in a co-effort by different religions.
 
The message concluded that even if Israeli regime is recognized by some governments the illegal regime will not be recognized by regional nations.
 
6th meeting on 'Al-Quds, eternal capital of Palestine' opened in the opening ceremony of three-day event held by New Horizon on May 13.
 
The event is attended by 50 prominent media and political figures and also American and European anti-Zionists.
