Prominent Iraqi cleric highlighted importance of coexistence among Muslims amid the present situation in the world of Islam.
 
Hujjat-ul-Islam Sheikh Abdul Mahdi Karbalaee, representative of prominent Shia jurisprudent, Ayatollah Ali Sistani, in his Friday sermon in the holy shrine of Imam Hussein (AS) stressed necessity of coexistence for every society with diversity of people, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
He said,” Some people imagine that true Shia is in pursuit of highlighting the contrast with other denominations” and added,” The best way to introduce Ahlul Bayt (AS) has to be learnt through their lifestyle; hence, Shia Islam should be brought among people with enough reasoning and maintaining the laws for coexistence with other people.”
 
Representative of Ayatollah Sistani stressed ways to safeguard unity among people and said,” Proper behavior with other people should be maintained while avoiding any irrespective wording or measure against other ethnicities or denominations.”
 
Hujjat-ul-Islam Karbalaee noted importance of scientific command on Qur’an and lifestyle of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) though to prove loyalty to jurisprudence necessitates a combination of knowledge, ideology and practicality together.
