Russia to hold conference on confrontation with extremism
Russian capital of Moscow will be hosting conference on ‘confrontation with extremism’ participated by dignitaries and Islamic figures from Iran and Russia.

Amid the rising threat by different extremist groups and worldwide violence, Russian capital of Moscow will be hosting conference on ‘confrontation with extremism’ as a joint effort of Islamic Institute of Moscow and cultural attaché of Islamic Republic in the country, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
The convention aims spreading the moderate Islamic thought and expanding the culture of coexistence in the Islamic nation.
Among other objectives of the conference is a scientific review of Takfiri and extremist thoughts and also ways to boost solidarity among Muslim scholars as well as taking a unified stance against extremist thoughts.
It is noteworthy that proximity board from Iran’s University of Islamic denominations and Shia and Sunni scholars will be attending the conference.
