Media in charge of sending message of Islamic unity: cleric
Hujjat-ul-Islam Gholamreza Mesbahi Moqaddam, former member of Iran’s Parliament in an interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) referred to impotence of Islamic solidarity in Islam and holy Qur’an and said if the media accurately sent the message of our revolution, which is an Islamic and note merely Shia movement, they can play the prime role in realization of Islamic unity.

He said,” Basically the mission of media is to send the reality to its addressees.”

The cleric called Islamic proximity as a principle in Islam as it is recommended in the holy book of Qur’an: ‘And hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do not become divided’ (Chapter Al Imran verse 103).

He added,” Islamic republic of Iran, since the beginning days, based its pillars upon convening Muslim brothers together and has never claimed the movement to be Shia rather called it an Islamic uprising.”

Hujjat-ul-Islam Mesbahi Moqaddam also hailed efforts of the World Forum for Proximity of Isalmic Schools of Thought to convene Muslim scholars from different countries and said,” The responsibility of media is to transfer the fact accurately since that will leave a positive effect on Islamic solidarity.”
