Diplomacy of unity based on honor, interests of Muslims

Mamusta Mostafa Khatami, Friday prayer leader of Oshnavieh, in an interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) on the sideline of first international conference on diplomacy of unity counted agreement, good will and good intentions as factors which can affect Islamic nation.

He said one of the ways to strengthen Islamic solidarity is to follow the holy book of Islam and lifestyle of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) stressing importance of reviving the spirit of unity which is referred to in Qur'an and lifestyle of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).

Mamusta Khatami noted," Muslims should avoid dispersing issues and boost the unity in their relations" and added," This solidarity between people, particularly, elites, and intellectuals is one of the most important necessities."

Friday prayer leader of Oshnavieh called Daesh, Qaeda and Taliban birth as a result of disunity among Muslims and noted solidarity of Islamic denominations as the sole way out of the present crisis in Muslim world."

He expressed regret over the current situation in the world of Islam and said," If the ideal unity was prevalent among Muslims, we should not have been witness to all crimes in Syria, Yemen and other war-torn Muslim states."
